There are nice things happening at Peninsula Ridge, Beamsville, Ontario. New winemaker. Fresh ideas. And the 06 Vintners Private Reserve Merlot. A gorgeous wine. Eyes closed, and I could have guessed a $50 bottle of 3rd growth Bordeaux, perhaps a St. Emilion.
