Emperador de Barros 2009: fr the Macabeo grape. A charming white wine from Spain (Ribera del Guadiana). Peach, honeycomb, citrus notes in a fresh, nicely acidic well-rounded package.

Steininger Riesling Kamptal 2009 (Austria). Over top fresh fruit aromas. Grapefruit, hint of spice & minerality followed by medley of tropical fruit. She’s got legs. A charmer. Lingering finish.

Steininger 08 Grand Crü Grüner Veltliner. Legs! Creamy, very well-crafted. Toast almond, luscious peach & pear. 14%. Their best GV; harvested very late. Fermented and aged in large acacia barrels.
